We are pleased to welcome the state of Montana to YDR. The Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act (MTCDPA) took effect on October 1st, 2024, and from today is available on the platform.

State residents can now submit data deletion and access requests via the website. They can also escalate requests to the Montana Attorney General when companies fail to comply with a request. Our smart follow-up assistance option provides guidance in such cases. Try it now!

Montana is the 9th US state to join the data protection club. Several additional states have enacted similarly strong data protection laws, which will come into effect over the next two years.

We will keep on adding these new regulations as they take effect.

YourDigitalRights.org is a free service that helps people regain control of their online privacy by automating the process of sending data deletion requests to organizations and then providing guidance on how to ensure that requests are resolved favorably.
