We are pleased to welcome the state of Florida to YDR. The Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) took effect on July 1st, 2024, and from today is available on the platform.

State residents can now submit data deletion and access requests via the website. They can also escalate requests to the Florida Attorney General when companies fail to comply with a request. Our smart follow-up assistance option provides guidance in such cases. Try it now!

Florida is the 8th US state to join the data protection club. Seven additional states have enacted similarly strong data protection laws, which will come into effect over the next two years (IAPP provides a US privacy legislation tracker).

We will keep on adding these new regulations as they take effect.
